Q: I've looked at a lot of agency sites and everyone talks about how great a job they'll do and how different they are. How can you prove you're effective and different than the rest?
A: Because we're the only agency that will put our money where our mouth is: our results-based compensation means we're so sure we will grow your business we'll risk what we're paid to prove it to you month after month, year after year.

Q: So exactly how does your results-based compensation plan work?
A: Simply put, we're paid based on your sales volume. The more you sell, the more we make. Likewise, if other factors like the economy, seasonality, etc. impact your business, it effects ours. That's why we're continuously working on ways to keep your business growing regardless of your budget, the market or the time of year.

Q: Who and where are your clients?
A: We work with some of the largest and most iconic dealerships and dealer groups in the country. We work in big markets and small, helping move domestics and imports; everything from smart cars to Bentleys and Rolls Royce and everything in between. Q: Where can I find samples of your work? A: You can find a few samples here. We produce thousands of TV spots, radio ads, print and web graphics, eblast, etc. every year so if you don't see something in a style you're looking for, just contact us and we'll gladly forward to you some samples of that kind of work.

Q: What do you mean by "brand"?
A: Well, we'll start by telling you what a brand is not: it's not a logo, and it's not a slogan or tagline. Your business' brand is simply this: it's what people think about you. Too many dealerships and furniture stores suffer from Blurry Brand Syndrome and think that by having that new slogan across all platforms is branding. Action knows it's not just what you say but how you say it that creates your image.

Q: Why such a focus on research?
A: Because the specific solutions to your problems are in the numbers. For example, if you're the #2 Honda dealer in the market, it's not because #1 is selling more Hondas than you; it's because they're selling more Accords than you, or Oddyseys, etc. From ongoing inventory analysis of your competitors, to internet and web shop assessments to zip counts of the people that are buying those Accords, etc., we devise and revise your strategy to specifically reach the buyers needed to grow your business.

Q: How does working with you, uh, work?
A: In short, we will integrate with your business in whatever manner is most comfortable and appropriate for you. For most of our clients, we function as both Marketing Department and Ad Agency. We provide it all: research, the strategy, results tracking and analysis, production, trafficking, co-op preapproval, media reconciliation, you name it.

While your Account Manager will be your go-to person for all your needs, when you hire Action your account strategy and results are evaluated everyday by senior management. Unlike a lot of agencies where you never see the agency principals after the pitch, Action provides you with ongoing contact and market visits from a variety of the people on your team including the agency President.

Q: Do you only work with automotive dealers and furniture stores? Why?
A: Having a speciality allows us to fully immerse ourselves in all aspects of these industries. While we're experts at marketing, we can talk everything from inventory control and sales training to database management and acquisitions.

Q: Is my store too small for you to work with?
A: We work with stores of all sizes from tiny to huge and we treat them all like they were the only client we have. We like working with stores that are currently small and are looking to grow. So no, you're not too small.

Q: I'm sure you have a lot of experience but my market is different.
A: We've heard this in nearly every new business meeting we've had. And you know what? Every one of them was correct; every market is different. While there are some universal truths, the complexity, demographics, competitive landscape, media habits and affordability, etc. all vary tremendously from market to market.
