

Action Integrated Marketing was born
out of the need for marketing expertise at the local
dealership level.
The company was founded, originally as the Ad-Action
Group, back in 1988 by Jarrett McConnico. Both Jarrett
and Jay Murphree, Action’s current president,
had come from agencies that handled regional and national
automotive dealership associations. While providing
excellent service to those associations, the two men
saw how little of their visionary strategic thinking
was reaching the individual dealers. They decided
to form their own agency focused solely on bringing
local dealers to the next level via strategies customized
to both the store and the market.
The Birth of Action IM
In 1996, the company re-christened itself as Action
Integrated Marketing after adding to its growing list
of services:
- Web-based marketing
- CRM solutions
- Sales training
By then, Action had firmly established itself as
the place to go for comprehensive service and true
innovation in automotive marketing. Their continuous
efforts to push the boundaries of dealership auto
sales led to the creation of the Main Events in 1998.
They began marketing these proven promotional campaigns
to non-full-service clients across the country. In
this way, dealers could feel the impact of an event
over a single weekend and see first-hand the kinds
of results Action delivers.
The growth continues. Action IM has become the premier
automotive marketing agency by always being first
with what’s next. That comes from thought leadership,
fresh creative, thorough research and a constant finger
on the pulse of the auto-buying public. We look forward
